About the Journal

Mānav: A Journal of Human Reflection is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the holistic study of humanity through the lens of anthropology. The journal publishes original research and review articles across the core branches of anthropology—social-cultural anthropology, biological anthropology, archaeology, and linguistic anthropology—along with interdisciplinary work grounded in anthropological theory and methodology.

The journal aims to promote scientific inquiry into human behaviour, cultural diversity, evolutionary processes, indigenous knowledge systems, tribal societies, health and nutrition, ecology, and heritage studies. It provides a platform for empirical fieldwork, comparative analyses, ethnographic documentation, and theoretical contributions that advance contemporary anthropological knowledge.
